چکیده
With the quick advancement of new generation information technologies like Internet, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain, digitalization is emerging as a crucial tool for restructuring factor resources, reshaping economic landscape, altering competitiveness. However, there no literature on impact mechanism environmental pollution management. Thus, this study measured level digital development in each province using principal component analysis based panel data 30 Chinese provinces during 2006–2019. On basis, haze its mechanisms were explored regression models mediating effect models, respectively. The findings demonstrate that (1) may be reduced through progresses, an inverse U-shaped non-linear link between them, is, technology refined, shifts from facilitation to suppression; (2) can reduce by promoting technological innovation improving efficiency management; (3) regional heterogeneity influence air pollution. In heavily polluted areas, suppression more than three times other areas. goal investigate how affects mechanisms, well offer some scientific guidance China’s efforts build “Digital China” under banner digitalization.

growth over the past two decades, accompanied by the development of large-scale industries and services. In the course of this expansion, medium-sized cities and small towns have sprung up around the larger cities, forming city clusters, often with similar or interdependent economies. The development of city clusters in China is somewhat similar to the formation of the megalopolis in the United...
متن کاملThe expanding role of air pollution in cardiovascular disease: does air pollution contribute to risk of deep vein thrombosis?
Scientific efforts to understand the health effects of air pollution and public policy efforts to control air pollution have a fascinating history. The early “killer smog” episodes in Meuse Valley, Belgium (1930), Donora, Pa (1948), and London, UK (1952) provided stark evidence of deleterious respiratory and cardiovascular health effects of severe air pollution exposure. This evidence motivated...

This study evaluates air pollution-related health impacts on the Chinese economy by using an expanded version of the Emissions Prediction and Policy Analysis model. We estimated that marginal welfare impact to the Chinese economy of ozone and particulate-matter concentrations above background levels increased from 1997 US$22 billion in 1975 to 1997 US$112 billion in 2005, despite improvements i...

This study explores the differences in pollution control performances of industrial enterprises with various ownerships in China – State owned (SOE), collectively or community owned (COE), privately owned (POE), foreign directly invested (FDI) companies as well as joint ventures. A survey was conducted of approximately 1000 industrial firms in three provinces in China, which collects the detail...

Taiwan has implemented a floating oil-price mechanism since 2007, which is aimed at connecting the domestic oil price with the international oil price. Given that the consumers’ behavior may change once the price truly responds to its cost and the air quality may consequently be improved, this study investigates the effect of oil price on the concentration of 7 air pollutants, taking the adopti...
